Plumbing pipes are the arteries and veins of your pool. They can be divided into two parts.
- Pipes that suck water from the pool, spa and waterfalls (main drains and skimmers).
We always use two inch diameter PVC or greater,
allowing for greater flow of water. Each suction source (main drain and skimmers) is always plumbed individually and not run in series.
All pools will have duel main drain pots and two skimmers for safety and flexibility of suction capabilities.
- Pipes that run from the equipment (pump, filter, heater, cleaner, and salt system) back to the pool, spa and waterfalls.
These PVC pipes are at least 1 1/2" in diameter or larger. We use at least 6 return lines in the pool and 6 jets in the spa.
Waterfalls will be individually valved for flexibility in water flow to each part of the waterfall.
